TALENT SHOW 2022

"Hide not your talents, they for use were made, What's a sundial in the shade?"

- Benjamin Franklin.

The talent show ‘SHOW YOUR TALENT ' for the First Year batch 2022-2024 of N.I.E  was held on for two days; 12 August 2022 (Friday), and on 23 August 2022 (Tuesday). Almost all the students were present at the venue. Excitement, thrill  lingered in the air as the students prepared to showcase their talents.

A small clip of the movie the Greatest Showman was played to kick-start the show

The talent show was like a quest for some of the rarest and brightest diamonds. The students displayed an array of talents. Many students burned up the dance floor with their amazing moves, while several others lifted our spirits high with their euphoric singing and great musical performances. A bunch of students mesmerized the audience with their ‘out of the world’ monologues, poems, story telling and acting skills. We also witnessed a great exhibition of our crafty bugs who displayed their handmade art and craft items which were definitely a treat to our eyes. It is rightly said,“the artists see what others only catch a glimpse of” The students portrayed their sketches, drawings, rangoli and mhendi designs which were unique and outstanding. Some of the students also displayed their outstanding digital art pieces and animation videos which is something we don’t get to see that often. Many of the students also exhibited an eye for beauty and it was proven through their outstanding photography skills. Lot of the students got us drooling over their baking and cooking skills too.

The talent show was definitely an opportunity to know the hidden gems around us. The students did their best and we definitely learnt a lot from each other.

Our sincere gratitude to our officiating principal, Sr. Delia Antao for her constant support and encouragement. A big THANK YOU to the mentors Mrs Anagha Deshpande, Mr Clifton Fernandes, and Mr.Raymond Pereira.

The program was hosted by trainee Ms.Joylita Silveira.

The students actively participated in the talent show making it a grand success.

“ use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best.”
