As part of the nationwide campaign to commemorate the 5th Anniversary of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) initiated by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment (DoSJE), Government of India, the Nirmala Institute of Education, Altinho-Panaji, organized a Mass Pledge activity on campus. The pledge-taking ceremony at the Institute was organized in the college auditorium on 3rd October 2025 from 2:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Leadership Camp 2025
Nirmala Institute of Education in association with Leadership Studio organized a Leadership Camp on 11th July 2025 to equip students with essential leadership qualities through interactive learning and personal reflection.
The event was graced by Mr. Alan D’Souza who served as the esteemed resource person, Dr. Russell D’Souza, Principal of the Institute, faculty and the B. Ed teacher trainees. The session began with an address by the Principal Dr. Russell D’Souza, who emphasized the importance of nurturing leadership skills among the students and the role of such sessions in shaping responsible individuals and future educators.
Mr. Alan D’Souza conducted a dynamic session focused on the core traits of effective leadership, the significance of self-awareness, communication skills, and team collaboration. The session was highly interactive, fun, and insightful. It sparked enthusiasm among the students and offered practical takeaways on becoming effective and empathetic leaders and future educators.
