As part of the nationwide campaign to commemorate the 5th Anniversary of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) initiated by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment (DoSJE), Government of India, the Nirmala Institute of Education, Altinho-Panaji, organized a Mass Pledge activity on campus. The pledge-taking ceremony at the Institute was organized in the college auditorium on 3rd October 2025 from 2:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
PAPER BAG MAKING / EDUCATIONAL FILM SCREENING
The Nirmala Institute of Education, Panjim Goa -Swachhata Abhiyan Cell initiated a Paper bag making activity on 24 th March 2022 for the F.Y B.Ed. trainees. The sole purpose was to create awareness about minimising the usage of ‘Single use plastics’.
On the 25 th march 2022 an Educational film screening was conducted showcasing some award winning films on Swachhata, that were sourced from MGNCRE. The NIE-Swachhata Abhiyan Cell which was set up in 2019, has been initiating several programs
for the teacher trainees partly in accordance with the MGNCRE and the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) guidelines.
