As part of the nationwide campaign to commemorate the 5th Anniversary of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) initiated by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment (DoSJE), Government of India, the Nirmala Institute of Education, Altinho-Panaji, organized a Mass Pledge activity on campus. The pledge-taking ceremony at the Institute was organized in the college auditorium on 3rd October 2025 from 2:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Session on Digital Art Tools & its application
As part of the curriculum and under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell -IQAC; the Faculty of Art & Aesthetics -Visual Arts Mr. Raymond Pereira conducted a session on 'Session on Digital Art Tools & its application' for the S.Y. B.Ed. Trainees batch 2022-24 from 9:30am-11:00am, on the 28/7/23.
The objective of the session was to introduce the young teacher aspirants to Digital Art tools for teaching.
Digital tools enable the user to combine various elements, such as animation, sculpture, photography and painting to develop new art forms. Digital art breaks boundaries through interactive sessions as and other technologies allowing viewers to take part in the process of artmaking.
The trainees were introduced to Google Virtual Museum, Simulations, 3D-Viewer, and Canva photo editor and image maker, iBIS Paint, AI Image Generators, etc. The trainees developed various images using prompts and other digital tools.
