Nirmala Institute of Education organized a Campus Placement Programme jointly by the Alumni Association of NIE and the Placement Cell of NIE, in collaboration with GEMS Education, on 19 September 2026.
REPORT ON ANTI-RAGGING AWARENESS
The details of the ANTI-RAGGING AWARENESS observed on campus as follows:
# 1- 12th August 2026 -
Mr.Raymond Pereira, Nodal Officer NIE Anti-Ragging Cell, attended a workshop on "UGC Anti-Ragging Guidelines and Portal Compliances", on the 12th August 2026, organised by the Anti-Ragging Committee of Government of Goa's College of Multidisciplinary Studies and Research (Autonomous), Margao. (detailed report in this regard is submitted dated via email on 13/8/2026)
#2- 13th August 2026 -
An ANTI-RAGGING AWARENESS Session was conducted by Mr.Raymond Pereira, Nodal Officer NIE Anti-Ragging Cell, in presence of Mrs. Suvarna Gauns (member NIE Anti-Ragging Cell ) and Ms. Shanice Lourenco (College Counsellor) for the F.Y B.Ed. students and the student's affidavit was filed online simultaneously by both F.Y B.Ed. & S.Y B.Ed. students.
A short documentary on Ragging was screened to highlight the ill effects on the students life and career.

A POSTER CAMPAIGN was organised with the UGC recommended communication materials displayed in prominent areas around the campus i.e Library, Canteen & Hostel premises.
