As part of the nationwide campaign to commemorate the 5th Anniversary of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) initiated by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment (DoSJE), Government of India, the Nirmala Institute of Education, Altinho-Panaji, organized a Mass Pledge activity on campus. The pledge-taking ceremony at the Institute was organized in the college auditorium on 3rd October 2025 from 2:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Science Club Installation and Lab Inauguration
The Science Club of Nirmala Institute of Education, Altinho, Panaji, installed its executive committee and inaugurated the NIE Science Lab on August 4, 2022. The logo and name of the Science Club—"Scinergy"—were unveiled, and the Science lab was inaugurated at the hands of Dr. Delia Antao, Officiating Principal of NIE, in the presence of the faculty, staff, and teacher trainees of the institution. Scinergy organised a quiz competition for the first and second-year trainees in non-science methodology and a riddle competition for the F.Y. Science Methodology students on the theme "General Science".
