The session on Humane Education was organised in the context of the recent directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India concerning the management of the stray dog menace and public awareness. Taking note of the increasing incidence of dog bite cases, particularly in and around educational institutions and other public spaces, the Hon’ble Court has emphasised the need for scientific awareness, responsible community participation, rabies prevention, vaccination and humane management of stray dogs in accordance with the law.
Students of NIE participated in the Konkani Poetry Competition
The F.Y.B.Ed. Konkani Methodology students Mr.Muttanna Madar and Mr.Ratik Pagi of Nirmala Institute of Education participated in the Konkani Poetry Competition at Government College Quepem on 24 th January 2026.
