Table Tennis Intramural Competition 2026–2027

The Department of Physical Education and Sports, Nirmala Institute of Education, Altinho, Panaji, organised the Table Tennis Intramural Competition on 13th July 2026 in the College Gymkhana for the students of F.Y. and S.Y. B.Ed. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, with a total of 18 participants competing across 17 matches. The tournament was conducted in a disciplined and competitive atmosphere, providing students with an excellent opportunity to demonstrate their technical skills, agility, concentration, and sportsmanship while fostering healthy competition and active participation in sports.

In the Women's Category, Ms. Sarah Lobo (S.Y. B.Ed.) secured the Gold Medal, while Ms. Nelamy Costa (S.Y. B.Ed.) finished as the Runner-up and received the Silver Medal. In the Men's Category, Mr. Aloysious Cabral (M.A. Wellness and Counselling) emerged as the Gold Medal Winner, while Mr. Jeremiah De Souza (S.Y. B.Ed.) secured the Runner-up position and received the Silver Medal.

The winners were felicitated by the Principal, Dr. Russell D'Souza, who presented the medals and congratulated all the participants for their commendable performances. He appreciated the enthusiasm and sporting spirit displayed throughout the tournament and encouraged students to continue participating in sports and co-curricular activities for their holistic development. The competition concluded successfully, achieving its objective of promoting physical fitness, discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, and the holistic development of students.
