The quiz was followed by a special lecture on G20 India presidency by Dr. Seshadri Chari, Governing council, RIS New Delhi. Professor Venkata Rao, Vice Chancellor, IIULER, Goa made us aware that our mother earth does not entirely belong to us, it is a home borrowed from a previous generation and we need to conserve it for our future generation.

This was followed by a special remark by Professor Savita Kerkar, Dean, School of Chemical Sciences, Goa University. She spoke about her research in the Artic, related to microorganisms, where their activity was affected due to change in temperature in the glaciers.

The session ended by awarding the quiz winners with mementos and certificates. It was a proud moment for Nirmala Institute of Education as five of its students won the Quiz Competition. The day was wrapped up with some delicious snacks.
