Nirmala Institute of Education, Altinho participated and won BOTANICA, an event organised by the botany department of Goa University on 27th February 2023. Altogether 12 students competed in various onstage and offstage competitions. The team secured the first place in debate and fashion show, and finished 3rd in treasure hunt, photography and stand up.

10th January, is observed as ‘World Hindi Day’ and is celebrated annually to promote Hindi language and its usage worldwide. To mark this day, the B.Ed. teacher-trainees of Hindi Pedagogy of Nirmala Institute of Education, Altinho Panaji, organised a cultural programme on 10th January 2023. The event took place in the Main Hall of the institute at 4:00 pm. The teacher trainees put up several items to highlight the significance of Hindi and the place of prominence it enjoys in the world. The event was guided by the Hindi Method Master Ms. Sangeeta Kadam.
The Gratitude Day was celebrated at Nirmala Institute of Education, Panjim Goa, on 4th January 2023. The entire celebration was organised by the F.Y B.Ed. Christmas Celebration group under the guidance of Mr. Raymond Pereira. The hosts for the celebration were Miss Rachel Pereira and Miss Neerja Phadte.
