The Nirmala Institute of Education celebrated the 11th International Day of Yoga on 21st June 2025 with the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Nation”. Staff and students actively participated in the session by following the proper yoga protocol through asanas, pranayamas, and suryanamaskars.
An interactive session was organized at Nirmala Institute of Education on 19th June 2025 at 3:15 pm. The session was organised by Saksham cell under the aegis of IQAC. Renowned counsellor and Transformatonal psychologist Mrs Ketaki Parob Gadekar was the resource person for the same. Mrs Gadekar hilighted the issues and challenges faced by women in the present milieu and explicated the Laws holding and protecting women's rights.The session was attended by B. Ed and D. Ed. teacher trainees. Session was enrichong, engaging and well appreciated by all those attended it.
The 10th International Conference on Life Skills Education (ICLSE 2025) took place from February 27 to March 1, 2025, at Nirmala Institute of Education, Panaji, Goa. Organized by the Indian Association of Life Skills Education (IALSE), Chennai, in collaboration with Nirmala Institute of Education, Goa, this prestigious event explored the theme "Life Skills Integrated Learning and Living: Pathways for a Sustainable Future."
The Nirmala Institute of Education, in collaboration with the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), organized a One Day Advocacy Programme focusing on School Health and Wellness for Teacher Educators on March 21, 2025. The event aimed to integrate wellness into teaching practices, bringing together educators and stakeholders to discuss health, well-being, and student welfare.
