The programme featured two esteemed resource persons, Ms. Durva Sukhathankar and Ms. Nikita Gupta, who shared valuable knowledge and practical insights with the participants.

The first session was conducted by Ms. Durva Sukhathankar, who introduced entrepreneurship in a systematic and practical manner. She conducted an engaging activity based on the Business Model Canvas, explaining how a business idea can be structured and transformed into a successful venture. She elaborated on its key components, namely Customer Segments, Value Proposition, Channels, Customer Relationships, Revenue Streams, Key Resources, Key Activities, Key Partnerships, and Cost Structure.

Each component was explained with practical examples, enabling students to understand how to effectively design and plan a business model. She motivated the students by narrating an inspiring story of a young girl who identified problems in her surroundings and converted them into business opportunities. Through this example, she encouraged students to observe societal challenges and create innovative solutions that could be developed into sustainable enterprises.

In addition, Ms. Durva Sukhathankar provided detailed information about Chief Minister Rozgar Yojana (CMRY) 2023, a government initiative aimed at promoting self-employment among youth. She explained that the scheme offers financial assistance, subsidized bank loans, and guidance support to eligible individuals who wish to start small-scale businesses or service enterprises. The scheme focuses on empowering young entrepreneurs, women, and economically weaker sections by providing them with opportunities to become self-reliant and generate employment.

She also explained about PMER (Prime Minister’s Employment Related initiatives), which are designed to encourage entrepreneurship and employment generation at the national level. Under such schemes, financial support, training, and institutional backing are provided to aspiring entrepreneurs to establish their own ventures. She highlighted how government-backed programs reduce financial risk and make it easier for young individuals to start businesses with confidence.

Furthermore, she guided students on how to identify potential customers by studying market needs, conducting simple surveys, and understanding consumer behavior. She emphasized the effective use of social media platforms for marketing, branding, and maintaining customer relationships, explaining how digital tools have made entrepreneurship more accessible and cost-effective.

The second session was conducted by Ms. Nikita Gupta, who elaborated on the concept of entrepreneurship and the qualities required to succeed in modern professional life. She discussed the changing employment landscape and compared traditional occupations with modern career opportunities shaped by technological advancement and innovation.

An interactive activity was conducted to enhance students’ thinking abilities and broaden their perspectives. Through this activity, students reflected upon the mindset of Indian society, certain traditional beliefs, and various social realities. She encouraged students not to remain limited to conventional job paths but to explore innovative and modern employment opportunities.

She emphasized that in today’s rapidly evolving world, adaptability, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking are essential. By presenting real-life examples and current realities, she inspired students to adopt a progressive mindset and take initiative in shaping their own careers.

In conclusion, the Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme was highly informative, interactive, and motivating. It provided students with practical knowledge about business planning, government support schemes such as CMRY 2023 and PMER initiatives, and modern career opportunities. The programme successfully encouraged students to think creatively, develop confidence, and consider entrepreneurship as a viable and promising career option.
