Taking note of the increasing incidence of dog bite cases, particularly in and around educational institutions and other public spaces, the Hon’ble Court has emphasised the need for scientific awareness, responsible community participation, rabies prevention, vaccination and humane management of stray dogs in accordance with the law.
Rooted to Rise: An Interactive Self-Discovery Workshop
Under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Rooted to Rise: An Interactive Self-Discovery Workshop was conducted for all the FY B. Ed students by Ms. Shanice Lourenço, College Counsellor. The workshop aimed to promote self-awareness, foster meaningful relationships with self and others, and familiarise students with the counselling services available on campus.
Through engaging reflective and creative activities, students explored their strengths, values, aspirations, and personal growth. The workshop encouraged students to begin their college journey with greater self-understanding, a stronger sense of belonging, and the confidence to grow with intention.
